In BR classic it is visible for everyone who is premium and who is not.

In the new Blackout Rugby, it is clear there will be no premium, but… will it be known who is paying for cards, tokens, decks, etc? or else will it be private?

No, we are working on Blackout Rugby first. Cricket second, and Football third.

A free card will disappear at the end of the day if not played. A card
from a deck you have bought with tokens will remain until it is played.
Having said that, there is the possibility that in some limited areas
free cards will be collectable i.e. free cards won’t disappear at the
end of the day but can be saved for a later day – the design process is still
ongoing in a few areas which is why I can’t give a definitive answer at
the moment.

In later blog posts we will go into more detail about the various systems in the game.

will all the games start at the same time rugby cricket and football ? the card system sounds like it will work without costing too much as it does in some games and should help to make you want to come on nearily every day

Just as a quick note, many of the uses and purposes which cards will fulfill in the new game are nothing more game design features which, if were not implemented using a cards system, would have still been implemented using some other UI (User-interface) component such as boring old lists and drop-downs which we see all over BR classic. If anything, cards will add to the sports immersion far more than web UI controls and drop-downs ever gave us in the classic game.

Ever since I started translating BR2 commentary lines to Spanish I wanted to know about cards and tokens and how will they be used. But now that it has been explained I doubt the gaming experince can be better than classical BR. One thing I like about BR as it is today is the lack of artificial elements, such as tokens and card decks. It is plain rugby. I would rather pay to play than play a game with those extra elements. I understand the financial model of BR could not be taken any further (we see it every day) and a new model was needed. I applaud the effort and I will play the new game hoping all I think today will be corrected by a wonderful gaming experience. As I said, Jeremy has go all the credit in the World for me and I won’t allow myself a definitive opinion until I have seen the real thing.
